South Korean man sentenced to 5 years for pimping

A man from the Republic of Korea was sentenced to five years in prison and fined 100,000 yuan ($16,440) in Dalian, Liaoning province, for establishing illegal websites for pimping, Xinhua News Agency reported on Thursday.
According to the report, the man, named Kim, was arrested on suspicion of pimping in May 2012. He was convicted of launching websites with prices of prostitutes and introducing South Korean men to go whoring in Dalian since 2009.
A tour guide he hired, also named Kim, was sentenced to three years in prison and fined 50,000 yuan as an accessory offender. Five South Korean men involved were detained for 15 days and each was fined 5,000 yuan, the report said.
