Price official accused of injuring colleague

A female official with the price bureau of Yangxin county, Hubei province, was arrested on suspicion of causing minor injuries to her colleague, another female official at the bureau, on Oct 16, Chinanews.com reported on Thursday.
The official, named Su, quarreled and fought with another female official named Zhang over a document on Dec 11, 2012, a witness who asked to be anonymous was quoted by Chinanews.com as saying.
After they were separated by other colleagues, Zhang, 46, also the deputy director of the bureau, called the police, saying that Su had hit her on the head, face and nose. She also said she had undergone a forensic identification, and the results indicated that the blows caused a fracture to her nasal bone, the report said.
But the colleague who accompanied Zhang to the hospital was quoted by the report as saying that there were no bruises on Zhang's face, and her nose was not bleeding.
Su's husband, Wang, also questioned the credibility of the accusations. He was quoted in the report as saying: "Zhang hit my wife first, but how come my wife was put into prison?"
