China's top anti-graft body has provided its first ever training package on corruption-free governance to officials at province and ministry level and above, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC said on its website on Wednesday.

Together with the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee and the Chinese Academy of Governance, the Party's top disciplinary watchdog opened its first course on clean governance to 41 officials from different provincial regions and central government departments from Oct 10 to 16.

The course was divided into four parts and nine class sessions, covering such topics as improving the Party's work methods, the rule of law and lessons to be learned from the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.

Wang Qishan, secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC, also delivered a keynote speech at the closing ceremony on Oct 16.
