Official removed for suspected violations

BEIJING - Qi Pingjing, deputy head of China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration, has been removed from his post for suspected serious disciplinary violations, Xinhua learned from authorities on Saturday.
The decision was made by the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC said on Friday that Qi was under investigation.
