Oil tanker explodes in east China

NINGBO - An oil tanker exploded in the coastal city of Ningbo in east China's Zhejiang province on Saturday morning, local authorities said.
The accident happened at about 8:40 am at Zhangjianqi shipyard in Zhenhai District when the 300-tonne oil tanker was being repaired, according to the district government.
An injured person was rushed to hospital. The exact number of casualties is unknown.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
