KUNMING - The bodies of two high school students feared to have drowned in Southwest China's Sichuan province have been found in a river, local authorities said on Tuesday.
Three high school students, one male and two female, went missing on Friday after playing in Qingping village of Leibo county, Sichuan, near Jinsha River, according to the government in neighboring Yongshan county of Yunnan province, home to the students.
The bodies of 19-year-old female Yin Guoxiu and 18-year-old male Lu Hongyong, both in the second grade at the first high school of Yongshan county, were found in the river at around 5 pm Monday, according to a Yongshan county spokesman.
Rescuers are searching for the other student.
