Faku General Aviation Base in Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning province, has become China's first approved low-altitude airspace aviation service station, according to the government of Faku county.
According to the local authority, the relevant support facilities of the base give it a leading position among domestic general airports.
Shenyang is known as the cradle of China's aviation industry. Faku General Aviation Base, on an area of 68 square kilometers, is the core of the industry in the city. By 2020, the base is planned to become a commuter airport, general aviation emergency rescue base and general aviation transport hub.
