Chinese, Mongolian defense ministers hold talks on ties

BEIJING - Chinese Defense Minister Chang Wanquan Wednesday held talks with his Mongolian counterpart Dashdemberel Bat-Erdene in Beijing on Wednesday.
Chang said it not only accords with the interests of the Chinese and Mongolian peoples to develop bilateral military ties, but also benefits regional peace and stability.
He called on both nations to work together to further enhance bilateral military ties.
Bat-Erdene said the Mongolian armed forces would like to intensify communication and coordination with the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
The two sides also exchanged views on regional security issues and other issues of common concern.
