Search continues for dog that killed 5-year-old

A 5-year-old girl in Qiuxian county, Hebei province, was killed by a dog which was still at large although more than 400 police, firefighters and residents had searched for it for two days, Beijing Times reported on Tuesday.
At about 10:20 am on Sept 8, the girl was attacked by the dog while she was playing on a local farm.
The girl's grandparents, who worked on the farm, ran to rescue her and saw a large gray dog running away.
The girl was sent to the hospital and died of serious injuries in the ambulance.
The county government organized more than 400 police, firefighters and residents to search for and kill the dog in order to avoid another attack.
The search continues and local farmers have been warned about the dog.
