Six dead in China residential building fire

CHANGSHA - Six people were killed in a residential building fire in Central China's Hunan province Wednesday morning, local authorities said.
The fire broke out at the residential building in Lusong district in the city of Zhuzhou at about 1:30 am, the city fire brigade said in a statement.
The fire engulfed a floor area of 100 square meters and killed six people before being put out about half an hour later, the brigade said.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is under way.
