Man held over subway assault after kissing girl

A man has been detained for assaulting a schoolgirl by kissing her without her consent in a subway station in Shenzhen, the city's prosecuting authority said on Thursday.
Prosecutors said the man's behavior was an assault.
The suspect, surnamed Wang, allegedly followed the girl at Tianba station and kissed her while she was taking an escalator.
Wang is 22 and the victim is a middle school student. The case has ignited widespread discussion on on subway security.
