Five were killed and one was critically injured in a car accident in Guangzhou on Tuesday, Yangcheng Evening News reported.
Witnesses said a car had knocked down a pole by the road before crashing into a bus at about 2 am in the Huadu district.
Five of the six in the Toyota Camry, in their 20s, including the driver and two women, died at the scene, doctors told the newspaper.
The driver smelled of alcohol and had vomit on his face when he was pulled out of the car, according to the report.
