Luxury cemetery built on farmland in Wuhan

A luxury cemetery built on farmland has been exposed in Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, people.com.cn reported on Wednesday.
A regulation on funerals issued by the State Council, China's Cabinet, states that cemeteries cannot be built on farmland, woodland, reservoirs, rivers, dams and in water conservation districts.
The owner said the cemetery was built with investment of 803 million yuan ($131 million) and comprised 13 hectares of farmland for the first construction phase and another 13 hectares for the second phase.
