Xi urges all-out rescue effort after deadly quake

BEIJING - President Xi Jinping has urged all-out rescue effort and put "saving life" as the top priority after a deadly earthquake hit Northwest China's Gansu province Monday morning.
As of 17:00 pm Monday, at least 75 people have been confirmed killed and more than 600 were injured in the 6.6-magnitude quake that jolted the juncture of Dingxi's Minxian County and Zhangxian County at 7:45 am.
