Senior Guangxi official under probe for suspected discipline violations

BEIJING - Sources with the discipline watchdog of the Communist Party of China (CPC) revealed on Saturday that senior official Li Daqiu in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is under investigation for suspected disciplinary violations.
Li is vice-chairman of Guangxi Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and also chairman of the Guangxi Federation of Trade Unions, according to the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI).
