Policeman killed in attack in SW China

A suspect surnamed Wu attacked two policemen, killing one and injuring the other in Gaoxian county, Yibin city, in Southwest China's Sichuan province, chinanews.com reported on Wednesday.
The police received a call from a woman surnamed Hui at 3:30 pm on July 1, reporting her husband was being attacked. When the police arrived at the couple's home, Wu rushed out, holding knives in both hands and attacked the policemen, injuring both.
One policeman died at 10:40 pm and the other is out of danger. He has injuries to his head and neck.
The suspect is held by police.
