A woman named Fu Zhuli found 3 kilograms of diamonds, valued at 200 million yuan ($32.6 million), and waited for two hours until the owner came back in Hong Kong on June 23, the People's Daily reported on Wednesday.
On the last day of the Hong Kong Jewelry Show, Fu found a handbag in a cafe at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, with diamonds inside.
“I could recognize that the diamonds were of high quality. It is the first time I saw such expensive diamonds,” Fu said.
She waited in the cafe for two hours until the owner of the bag, who is a foreigner, returned for the handbag and thanked Fu for her help.
