Explosion, fire rage through chemical plant

An explosion ripped through a chemical plant in suburban Shanghai on Sunday morning, generating a fire so large more than 50 fire engines were dispatched to the scene.
No casualties were reported. At about 11 am, reactors in a workshop of the Huayi Acrylic Acid Company exploded, and witnesses said they heard loud explosions and saw flames surge as high as 20 meters. The fire was extinguished at 1:50 pm.
