A government official in Jiangshan city, Zhejiang province, committed suicide by jumping into the Xu River on Tuesday. His body was retrieved after a 20-hour search, police said.
The 51-year-old male, surnamed Zhou, was seen jumping into the Xu River, a tributary of the Qiantang, from the city's rainbow bridge.
