The Beijing Emergency Medical Center will have an ambulance at each of the 105 locations where students take the college entrance exam on Friday and Saturday, Beijing health bureau said.
Each ambulance will have a radio, and the center will set aside a special channel to receive calls from those ambulances.
The ambulances will drive examinees, their parents waiting outside the venues, or staff workers in the venue who need emergency care to the nearest hospital.
The center also asked all ambulances to keep their sirens off when they are out on Friday and Saturday, so that the sound will not affect the examinees.
The city has been providing emergency medical care for students taking the exam every year since 2003.
