Senior US diplomat to visit China for security dialogue

WASHINGTON - The United States will send its point man on arms control to China for a bilateral security dialogue, the State Department said on Tuesday.
Rose Gottemoeller, the acting under secretary of state for arms control and international security, will discuss with senior Chinese officials arms control, nonproliferation and international security issues, the department said in a statement.
It said she will leave for Beijing on Wednesday for a three-day trip.
