A ceremony to mark the launch of a training program for Taiwan small and medium-sized entrepreneurs was held on Monday in Fuzhou, capital city of Fujian province.
The program aims to further boost Fujian-Taiwan economic cooperation.
Organized by the Fujian Academy of Governance, the event was attended by about 20 businessmen from Taiwan, who will take part in the week-long training session.
Jia Hua, vice-president of the academy, said the class was the first of its kind in the province and will serve as a platform for Taiwan investors to better understand the investment environment and policies on the mainland.
Yang Chao-Ming, a Taiwan entrepreneur who is planning to invest on the mainland in the regenerative medicine sector, said the class can help avoid blind investment and present a clear investing picture of Fujian.
