GUIYANG - A landslide that occurred at a village in Bijie city, Southwest China's Guizhou province, Thursday night, has left one trapped and two others missing, local authorities said Friday.
Debris of the landslide buried three residential houses in Shengli village, and blocked a road linking Nayong and Hezhang counties in the province.
The rescue work is still under way.
According to the Nayong county government, the landslide also damaged power supply facilities, causing blackout in several villages in Gukai and Yangchang townships.
The local civil affairs department is taking emergency measures to examine hazards and deliver disaster relief goods including tents and quilts to affected people.
