Exhibition highlights Thailand's appeal

An exhibition highlighting Thailand's investment environment was held in Tianjin.
"China will become the biggest economy in the world. For Thailand, with its geographical advantage, it will become the most important country to invest in regionally," said Somsak Kitasuranont, president of the Thai national assembly and speaker of the house of representatives, at the exhibition in Tianjin on April 23.
The exhibition, to introduce and display the environment and investment policies in Thailand, was held jointly by the Tianjin Federation of Industry and Commerce and Thailand's embassy.
Apipong Khunakornbodintr, Dean of the Beijing Office for the Thailand Board of Investment said that "with good policies on investment and finance, Thailand is quite attractive to investors".
Li Changjin, Chairman of the Tianjin Federation of Industry and Commerce said Thailand and China have set up an overall strategic and cooperative partnership.
