32 art exhibitions free to public in Beijing

A total of 32 art exhibitions in 16 art galleries and museums will be opened to the public free of charge in Beijing starting on Saturday, Beijing Daily reported Monday.
The free exhibitions include a cultural relics exhibition hosted by Beijing’s World Art Museum, a new media-themed exhibition in the National Art Museum of China, a classic modern paintings exhibition in the National Museum, and an exhibition of Li Shutong’s paintings in the Art Gallery of China’s Central Academy of Fine Arts.
Private art galleries including the Today Art Museum and the Yuan Art Museum will also offer some free exhibitions.
The batch of exhibitions was initiated by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture.
