The Second China International Fair for Trade in Services is expected to convene from May 28 to June 1 at the China National Convention Center in Beijing, Beijing Daily reported Monday.
As of Thursday, enterprises that have subscribed for the second fair on the Beijing Fair website increased 129 percent from the first session in May 2012.
The theme of the fair this year will be Trade in Service: The New Engine for Value Enhancement. More than 130 activities include the opening ceremony, high-level forums, promotion and negotiation meetings, and exhibitions will be held during the session.
The Fair, initiated in 2012, is a comprehensive trading platform which covers 12 fields of service trades, including business services, communication services, construction and related engineering services, distribution services, educational services, environmental services, financial services, and so on.
Nearly a thousand reporters from about 200 media worldwide have applied so far to cover the Fair, a lot more than in the first Fair in May last year.
