The former prime minister of Nepal and the leader of Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) said on Thursday that the Chinese dream is also a universal dream.
Speaking in Beijing, Prachanda said that the Chinese dream is not only the dream of the Chinese people, it's also the dream of Nepal's people, and in a general terms, the dream of all mankind.
"According to my understanding, peace, stability and prosperity is the essence of the dream," he said during an event at the Nepalese embassy in Beijing in Thursday night to celebrate Nepalese New Year.
Prachanda unveiled a publication that covered all major activities of the Nepal-China Year of Friendly Exchanges 2012.
Prachanda also held talks with President Xi Jinping on Thursday.
Hailing the traditional friendship between the two neighbors, Prachanda said he felt gratitude for China's assistance to his country and is looking forward to more financial and technical support.
