Cucumber is latest art craze

An artwork, depicting natural beauty, made from a cucumber is the latest craze among Chinese netizens and many are trying to recreate its imagery.
Wu Gaolong, an artist who lives in Yangzhou, Jiangsu province, uploaded his cucumber art on Tuesday after seeing an original one on the Internet. The artwork contains elements of mountains, houses, trees and birds.
"It only took me eight minutes to finish, and the materials needed are just a fruit knife, an iron and obviously a cucumber," said Wu. "Anybody can make their own cucumber art if they are interested."
He added that the most fruits and vegetables can be used for art.
