2 dead in China fighter jet crash

BEIJING - A Su-27 fighter jet crashed near the city of Rongcheng in East China's Shandong province Sunday afternoon, leaving two pilots dead.
The crash occurred at 1:35 pm, when the pilots were in the middle of a training mission. No collateral damage on the ground was reported, according to the air force.
The PLA Air Force rushed to rescue the pilots after the crash and is continuing to handle the incident.
Condolences were offered for the two pilots.
