Rule to ban criminal-record teachers in preschools

People with a criminal record or history of mental illness would be banned from teaching at Chinese preschools under a draft regulation.
The Ministry of Education said the proposed revision is open for public comment until April 23.
Comments can be left at chinalaw.gov.cn or moe.edu.cn.
