A naked man broke into an airport in Nanchang, Jiangxi province, forcing it to close for an hour on Thursday evening and delaying 11 flights, the Jiangnan Metropolis Daily reported.
A Nanchang resident ran to the apron of Changbei International Airport at 10 pm on Thursday, one of the busiest times of the year due to the Spring Festival travel rush.
The airport’s management authority decided to suspend operations for safety reasons.
The man was found squatting in a ditch an hour later. The newspaper said that the man was upset after a fight with his family.
Authorities are still investigating the case.
