Fish Leong, 34, a Chinese singer with Malaysian origins, will stage her second concert in London on Friday at Wembley Arena, after a successful debut concert in the British capital last year.

Titled "Love Library", the concert will focus on Chinese romantic songs, and is aimed at attracting a young audience, many of them Leong's fans from China.

"I am very glad to have the opportunity to share my songs and my love with all my fans in London. I recently met many young men who said they proposed to their girlfriends at my concert last year, and I'm very happy for that," Leong said in London.

Born in 1978 in Malaysia, Leong showed a talent for music at a young age. In 1997, she went to Taiwan to record albums under the supervision of Taiwan pop legend Li Zongsheng.

Leong has since performed in many concerts, in China and overseas.

Wembley Arena has a bigger capacity than the Hammersmith Apollo theatre, where Leong performed last year in London. But Leong says the added space does not mean more pressure for her.

"I firmly believe that no matter how big the space is, the distance between me and my audience will be very close. So I will be relaxed and perform at my best," she said.
