BEIJING - A compilation of constitutional laws from 193 member states of the United Nations will be published into Chinese-language in November, China Procuratorial Publishing House has announced.

The book, divided into four volumes of Asia, Europe, Africa and America-Oceania, took the China Law Society and the publishing house two years to complete. They received help from the Supreme People's Procuratorate.

Constitution scholars, translators and legal experts helped produce the 12.8-million-character set, which features detailed content and translations.

"This book embodies high academic values and will play a significant role in improving our country's Constitution education as well as helping us learn from overseas legislation," said Han Dayuan, head of a research team on constitutional law, under the China Law Society.
