Eight trapped in SW China coal mine flooding

GUIYANG - Eight miners were trapped in a coal mine flooding in southwest China's Guizhou Province Tuesday night, local workplace safety authorities said Wednesday morning.
The accident happened at about 11:30 pm Tuesday at the Guba coal mine in Longchang Township, Fuquan City when 41 miners were working underground.
Thirty-three miners escaped.
Rescue is underway.
