BEIJING - A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman reiterated China's stance of opposing ivory smuggling on Wednesday.
"We have promulgated laws and regulations in this regard, and have made positive efforts in related administrative enforcement," Hong Lei said at a routine press briefing in response to a question.
He said China's stance is clear and its steps have positively contributed to an international crackdown on the smuggling of ivory.
China will maintain its efforts in the future, he added.
