Senior official investigated for corruption

A senior official in charge of transportation in Central China’s Hunan province has been investigated for possible corruption, according to the local discipline department.
Li Xiaoxi, the 57-year-old deputy director of the Department of Transportation of Hunan Province, has been investigated for “serious discipline violation”, a routine wording for corruption, the Hunan Commission for Discipline Inspection said on its website on Thursday.
No further details were given.
