The six-car subway train can reach a maximum speed of 80 kilometers per hour even when the temperature drops to -38 C.
Developed by Changchun Railway Vehicles Co Ltd, a subsidiary of the China CNR Co Ltd, the subway train will be delivered to Harbin, capital of the country’s northernmost province.
China CNR, one of the country’s leading train manufacturers, said that the subway train features include high-performance insulation materials and heating equipment to ensure comfort and safety.
