Police responsible for crash injuring 7

A police car was responsible for a traffic accident in which seven people were injured in Nanning, capital of the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, chinanews.com reported on Wednesday.
According to the city's police, two policemen were in a car that crashed into a group of people on a downtown street at about 5 pm on Wednesday afternoon. After the accident the policemen returned to the Jiangnan branch of Nanning Public Security Bureau. The seven injured people were sent to a local hospital. Their conditions are stable.
Police said in a statement that the two policemen were not found to have been drunk driving following blood tests. The city police authority said the case will receive serious and just treatment. The results of an investigation will be publicized soon, it said.
