Man accused of killing 9 people

A man stabbed to death nine people and seriously injured four others in Xinbin county, Northeast China's Liaoning province, on Wednesday, local police said on Thursday.
The suspect, surnamed Li, from Xinfu district of Fushun city, killed two family members of his girlfriend after a fight with her in Yongling town, Xinbin county, at 9 pm on Wednesday, police said. Li then stabbed to death six passers-by and injured five other people, police said.
Police arrested Li soon after the attacks.
The five injured people were hospitalized. One of the injured later died. The case remains under investigation.
