19 killed in East China road crash

HEFEI - At least 19 people were killed after a bus and a sand-hauling truck collided head on in East China's Anhui province Thursday morning, local officials and rescuers said.
The crash occurred at about 6:30 am at a section of a road near Wangzhai township in the city of Suzhou.
Some injured passengers have been rushed to a nearby hospital and rescuers are still looking from possible survivors in the seriously damaged vehicles.
