More than 50 Chinese furniture designers will have their works exhibited in Milan in April, the Beijing Design Week Organizing Committee has announced on Thursday.
The exhibition, as part of the Beijing Design Week & Milan, will showcase more than 80 pieces of contemporary seating designed by the Chinese artists. It will be followed by a series of initiatives including business-to-business commerce exchanges and visits between enterprises and institutions that aim to discover the originality of Chinese designers and promote them in the global market.
"While we intend to provide a frame work for designers of all ranges, we especially look forward to those who can tell a good story in their works," said Aric Chen, Creative director of the Beijing Design Week Organizing Committee.
