At panel talks, Hu stresses Tibet stability

Li Changchun, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, joined in a discussion with NPC deputies from the southernmost island province of Hainan, expecting it to become a world tourist destination.
Joining in a panel discussion with the NPC delegation from the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, Vice-President Xi Jinping urged the region to pay equal attention to development and stability while making steady efforts to improve the people's livelihoods.
At a discussion with the Fujian delegation, Vice-Premier Li Keqiang urged the costal province to create new prosperity, promote industrial upgrading, and develop the oceanic economy.
Li asked the province to better build the economic zone on the west side of the Taiwan Straits, and to promote deepened cooperation and mutual development along with the other side of the waterway.
He Guoqiang, chief of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC, attended a panel discussion with the Henan delegation, hoping that Henan facilitates economic restructuring, consolidates the fundamental role of agriculture and coordinates the development between rural and urban centers.
He also urged Henan authorities to improve the people's quality of life, enhance the capacity-building of the Party, advance anti-corruption campaigns, make more efforts to tackle issues concerning the public, and boost the construction of the central economic zone.
