Bohai Sea freezes into massive ice rink

China's Bohai Sea, one of the busiest seaways in the world and covering a vast area of 78,000 square kilometers, has turned into a massive ice rink, Feb 1, 2012 in Dalian, Northeast China's Liaoning province. Approximately 20,782 sq km has frozen, according to the State Oceanic Administration of China. As temperature plummeted in the recent days, 27 percent of the sea has frozen and the ice in certain areas goes as thick as 30 centimeters, causing several fishing boats to get stuck. [Photo/CFP]
