Apple in China began selling its iPhone 4S model online at 11am Wednesday, much to the delight of its fans, Oriental Morning Post reported.
The reservation system has proved to be smooth and is now under operation, the paper said.
The launch of iPhone 4S in Sanlitun in Beijing was halted a few weeks ago due to scalpers, while Apple stores in Hong Kong introduced a real-name system and lottery to help meet the huge demand.
