An 82-year-old man is calling on more senior citizens to join him in next year's World Chinese Basketball Invitational Tournament, which usually falls at the end of November, central China's XiaoXiang Morning Herald newspaper reported Thursday.
The man, surnamed Yuan, signed up last year for the senior group, people over the age of 70, and he has now decided to form another team for the 2012 event.
Right now, Yuan has only five or six people who have agreed to play on his team. With a little publicity in the newspaper he hopes that more older basketball lovers will join him and his teammates.
