A university student has impressed internet users by building models of famous structures using only hundreds of coins, the Shanxi Evening News reported on Tuesday.

Xiong Yi, an engineering student at East China's Zhejiang University, uploaded about 20 pictures of his coin models of famous works of architecture, such as London Bridge, to his page on Renren, a Chinese social networking site, and they have drawn a lot of attention.

Many showed their admiration for his work, saying they wanted to learn from him, and girls even said they thought he was romantic.
