1m multimillionaires on Chinese mainland - report

About 960,000 people in Chinese mainland are worth more than 10 million yuan ($1,565,000), including 60,000 people worth 100 million yuan, according to the 2011 Hurun Wealth Report co-released on Wednesday by Hurun Research Institute and GroupM Knowledge Center, Beijing Times reported.
The number of multimillionaires has risen 9.7 percent in a year, and the proportion of males to females is 7 to 3, the report says.
The average age for multimillionaires is 39; for billionaires it is 43.
Beijing was the area with the most multimillionaires, 170,000; Guangdong province ranked second and Shanghai third.
