50b yuan worth deals signed at PBG Summit

Nanning - Foreign banks, Chinese banks and national enterprises signed 13 cooperation agreements and one cooperation memorandum of understanding at the Sixth Pan-Beibu Gulf Economic Cooperation Summit in Nanning Friday morning.

The total value of the 14 deals exceeded more than 50 billion yuan ($7.43 billon), Chen Wu, vice-governor of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, announced at the closing ceremony of the Summit.

The deals covered settlement cooperation between Chinese and foreign banks, loans and settlement business between banks and enterprises, and financing projects.
