BEIJING - China's Ministry of National Defense on Tuesday refuted the allegation that Pakistan gave Chinese military personnel access to a US stealth helicopter which crashed during the commando raid to Osama bin Laden in May.

Media reports said that Pakistan allowed Chinese military engineers to photograph and even take some samples of the crashed chopper for research.

"Those reports are entirely groundless and very ridiculous," said a statement issued by the ministry's information office, which was published on the ministry's official website www.mod.gov.cn.
