Iraqi PM concludes official visit to China

SHANGHAI - Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki concluded his first official visit to China and left Shanghai Thursday morning.

Before his departure, Maliki said that the visit has further deepened the Iraq-China friendship and boosted the bilateral economic and trade cooperation.

Maliki arrived in Beijing on July 17 as guest of his Chinese counterpart Wen Jiabao. This is his first official visit to China since he took office.
